I'm Nobody! Who are You? by: Emily Dickinson

I'm Nobody!  Who are you?
Are you --Nobody--Too?
Then there's a pair of us!
Don't tell! they'd advertise-- you know!

How dreary-- to be--Somebody!
How public--like a Frog--
To tell one's name-- the livelong June--
To an admiring Bog!

  1. There was rhyme after every other sentence in the poem. That there were two nobodies and became somebodies and they were a pair. We liked how the author expressed their emotions about being happy.(Ashley B,Taryn N-mrs.Burns)

  5. The part where it has "How public--like a Frog--To tell one's name-- the livelong June--
To an admiring Bog!" Rhymed. There was a tiny bit of personifacation when it talked about the bog being admiring. (Jon Paul A. Hunter M. Pavelka HR)

  12. There is no rhyme or rythme, it seemed more like a free verse then anything else. There was no figurtive language, but there were similies. What I liked most about the poem is that it's confusing. (Brayden C., David D.)
