Autumn Thought by Langston Hughes

Flowers are happy in summer.
In autumn they die and are blown away.
Dry and withered,
Their petals dance on the wind
Like little brown butterflies.

  1. There was no rhyme, and no rhythm. We did not see any figurative language. We like that it discribed two seasons.

  6. There was no rhyme. But there was figurative language. I liked the poem especialy because fall is my favorite season, and the poet describes it well.
